WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Vintec New Zealand provides a full 2 year warranty from the date of purchase on all our wine cabinets. Please keep your receipt of date of purchase for verification purposes. Please complete the information below and click on the ‘submit’ button to validate your warranty.

Conditions of Warranty:

Vintec 30 bottle series

The small 30 bottle unit is not to be built in; they need total ventilation as they are not equipped with front venting. Free standing only.


Vintec 40 bottle series
The 40 bottle models, although equipped with front venting, require a minimum cut of 615mm, 1cm gap on both sides and top and 4cm behind. A vent is required in the upper back wall or in the upper side wall. If a kickboard is to be used it will need a grill to allow adequate in and out flow of air.

Vintec 50 bottle series
The 50 bottle models, although equipped with front venting, require a minimum cut of 626mm, 1cm gap on both sides and top and 4cm behind. A vent is required in the upper back wall or in the upper side wall. If a kickboard is to be used it will need a grill to allow adequate in and out flow of air.




Terms & conditions of warranty
Your wine cellar complies with New Zealand Standards Association NoEN 50081-1, EN 60335-1, EN 60204-1 and has been approved for sales by all Government and other authorities required to furnish approval.
Prior to delivery of your wine cabinet, we will test to inspect to ensure that:

  • It is fully functional
  • It does not contain latent or patent defect and:
  • It has a quality finish

We warrant that your wine cabinet shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. If your wine cabinet fails to operate due to defective workmanship or materials in said period of two (2) years, we will arrange and pay for a technician to call upon you to ascertain the fault and repair your wine cabinet (distance limit of 50 kilometers). If necessary your wine cabinet will be removed from your premise to a place of repair. We will repair and/or replace your wine cabinet, so that you have a fully operational wine cabinet of the same or superior specifications and quality described in this warranty. If it is necessary to remove your wine cabinet from your premise to a place of repair, we will require you to pay us the cost (which we will make all reasonable endeavors to limit to a reasonable amount) the removal of your wine cabinet to a place of repair and the redelivery of the repaired or replaced wine cabinet to you.

In spite of the proceeding terms of this warranty, this warrant does not cover, and will impose no liability, of any nature or kind whatsoever, upon us for service charges and/or parts and/or labor resulting from or in connection with:

  • Accident, alteration, improper use, abuse, improper transportation, tampering or failure by you or any other person or firm or corporate entity (excluding us) to allow the operating procedures described in the users manual provided by us to you at or prior to the time of the purchase of your wine cabinet from us or improper handling of your wines by you or any other person or firm or corporate entity (excluding us).
  • Failure by you or any other person or firm or corporate entity (excluding us) to follow our written installation instructions provided by us to you at or prior to the time of the purchase of your wine cabinet from us — in this regard you acknowledge and agree that installation if the wine cabinet is your responsibility and it accordingly follows that you are responsible for the consequences and/or cost of any improper installation of your wine cabinet.
  • Damage caused as a result of fire, flood or any act of God.

Other than as provided above, and to the full extent permitted by the Trade Practices Act, 1974 (Cth) and any relevant state legislation, in no event will we otherwise be liable for any claims or damages with respect to the wine cabinet including, but not limited to, claims for faulty design, manufacture or installation, negligent or misleading advice, damages arising from loss or use of wine cabinet, including damage to personal effects and other property within or outside the wine cabinet, and any incident, special or consequential damages or injury to you or any other person or firm or corporate entity.

If a service call is arranged and the findings are that the installation is at fault, I acknowledge that I am responsible for the service call charge.
